Public Works crew preparing roads for snow and slickness
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Dry snow is forecasted to start late this morning and continue through this afternoon. Slickness and snow accumulation is likely. The heaviest band of snow is on track to hit Boone County and we expect to accumulate 1-3 inches of snow. Any shifts in the direction of this fast-moving disturbance could reduce the amount of snow we receive. Public Works has crews preparing now and will be out on priority routes this morning. Cautious winter weather driving will be required.
