Public Works crew in at 5am to react to early morning flurries
(COLUMBIA, MO) - With spotty snow and slick conditions possible early Monday morning, Public Works will have an 8-person crew reporting at 5:00 a.m. to treat priority routes as necessary and monitor conditions. Precipitation is expected to start around 3:00 a.m., but nothing is expected to start accumulating until around 6:00 a.m., if at all. Slick conditions on the road are possible so crews will be monitoring conditions and will use additional resources if necessary. Customers should use cautious winter driving on the morning commute and be careful of slick pavement.
