Officers arrested Kyle Mathew Ledbetter, 26, of Columbia today after an armed robbery in the area of the 3600 block of Clark Lane.
At 7:37 a.m., officers were dispatched to 3905 Clark Lane, Casey's Convenience Store, in reference to a robbery with a gun. Officers made contact with the male victim at 2900 Paris Road, Gerbes Supermarket. The investigation revealed the victim drove Ledbetter to the 3900 block of Clark Lane. Ledbetter brandished a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim provided Ledbetter an undisclosed amount of money and Ledbetter fled the area. Officers later located Ledbetter in the 2000 block of Holly Avenue where he was arrested at 7:51 a.m. for Robbery in the First Degree with a to be set bond and Armed Criminal Action with a to be set bond.
