On 1/7/16 at 4:26 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of New Haven Road in reference to a robbery with a gun.
Preliminary investigation reveals a male victim, 21, was traveling westbound on New Haven Road toward Highway 63 when he observed a white SUV pulled slightly off the roadway and a male laying in the roadway. The victim stopped, and as he exited his vehicle a second male suspect armed with a handgun approached the victim and demanded money. The victim provided the suspects an undisclosed amount of money and the suspects fled the area in the white SUV. The victim was not injured.
The suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect 1: Black male, approximately 6'0 tall and last seen wearing a dark colored jacket.
- Suspect2: Black male, approximately 6'0 tall with a goatee.
