Columbia Public Works will have an 8 person crew on duty starting at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30 to monitor and treat roads as we have the potential for light accumulations of snow. Forecasts are calling for a dusting to 1/4 inch of snow overnight. Spotty slickness is possible during the morning commute on Wednesday.
Slickness caused by light snow accumulations will be highest on low-traffic and residential roads overnight. Motorist should be cautious of slick conditions during the Wednesday morning commute.
