WHAT: Bear Creek Run Half Marathon, organized by Columbia Parks and Recreation.
WHEN: Saturday, October 17, Race begins at 8 a.m.
WHERE: Albert-Oakland Park (1900 Blue Ridge Road).
Ample parking near race site for spectators, overflow parking will be available at Oakland Middle School.
INFORMATION:
The race is sold out; there are 300 runners registered.
Participants will begin at Albert-Oakland Park, follow the Bear Creek Trail to Cosmo Park, loop around the Antimi Sports Complex, then back onto the Bear Creek Trail to return to Albert-Oakland Park.
Awards given to overall top male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 finishers in 6 age categories.
