THIRD SUSPECT ARRESTED IN DECEMBER'S ROBBERY AT JIMMY JOHNS

The Columbia Police Department arrested Mikel Derrice Crowley, 20, of Columbia in reference to the robbery at 912 Rain Forest Parkway, Jimmy Johns Restaurant on 12/7/14. On 12/19/14, CPD detectives arrested Jafari R. Boss and took a 16-year-old male juvenile into custody in reference to the robbery of the restaurant.

In addition, on 8/13/15 at approximately 9:27 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Sylvan Lane in reference to a past assault. The investigation revealed on 8/12/15 at approximately 10:00 P.M., a verbal altercation ensued between Crowley and a female victim, 19. During the altercation Crowley pointed a handgun at the female victim and a separate male victim, 21. Crowley and the female victim were in an intimate relationship.

Officers arrested Crowley on 9/4/15 at 12:46 A.M. in the 3900 block of Clark Lane for Robbery in the First Degree with a to be set bond, Misdemeanor Domestic Assault with a bond of $1,000.00, and Misdemeanor Assault with a bond of $500.00.
