On 8/26/15 at 11:43 P.M., Public Safety Joint Communications received a report of possible shots fired in the area north of Garth Avenue and Sexton Road.
The Columbia Police Department canvassed the area and located multiple shell casings in the 400 block of Duncan Street. The investigation further revealed a vehicle in front of 601 McBaine Avenue, Buckner's Beauty Shop, was struck by gunfire, along with a residence in the 500 block of McBaine Avenue. There were no reported injuries and the amount of property damage is unknown at this time. The investigation is on-going.
