On 06/29/2015, at approximately 6:17 P.M. officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Hickam Drive in reference to multiple reports of shots being fired. During the investigation, officers discovered an uninvolved vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Hickam Drive that had at least one bullet hole in the exterior. In addition, officers located several cartridge casings in the area.
Preliminary investigation revealed some of the shots came from the occupants of a white passenger car that was traveling westbound on Clark Lane. The shots were fired in the direction of a dark colored passenger car that was occupied and sitting stationary in the 1300 block of Hickam Drive. Occupants of the dark colored vehicle are reported to have returned fire at the white vehicle. Both vehicles reportedly sped away from the scene. As stated above, an uninvolved vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Hickam Drive was struck by at least one bullet. No injuries have been reported at the time of this release. No other information is available for release at this time.
