ARREST MADE IN THE 6/19 ARMED ROBBERIES
James Anthony Fristoe Jr., age 22, out of Kansas City, Missouri, turned himself in on Saturday, June 20, 2015 to the Holden Missouri Police Department for outstanding warrants related to a State of Oklahoma warrant for Fugitive Out of State and State of Missouri Failure to Appear Probation and Parole Warrant with a total bond of $15,000.00.
While in custody, Fristoe Jr. was interviewed by Boone County Sheriff's Department detectives for alleged crimes committed in Boone County. The Boone County Sheriff's Department detectives identified Fristoe Jr. as a suspect in the two armed robberies that occurred in the City of Columbia on June 19, 2015 and obtained incriminating statements. This information allowed Columbia Police Department detectives to obtain arrest warrants for Fristoe Jr.
Fristoe Jr. was arrested for two counts of Robbery in the First Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action from the Break Time Convenience Store Robbery and the Midwest Petroleum Robbery with a bond of $300,000 on today's date around 9:40 A.M. Thanks to the Boone County Sheriff's Department for their assistance in helping us clear these cases.
