Beginning Wednesday, June 24, at 7:00 pm, APAC-Missouri of Columbia will begin a mill and overlay project on Keene St between East Broadway and I-70 Drive Southeast. The work is scheduled to be completed, weather permitting, the morning of Saturday, June 27.
The work will take place nightly between 7 pm and 6 am to minimize traffic impacts. The work will require lane restrictions and lane closures during working hours.
The project was funded through Missouri Department of Transportation 80/20 match program at a total cost of $357,931.83. The city match of $71,586.37 is funded from Annual Streets and Sidewalks budget.
Motorist and non-motorized transportation users should use caution in the work zone and use alternate routes when available. While the work will be done during overnight hours, motorist should still use caution during the day until the project is completed.
