Demolition requires sidewalk closures on Elm and 9th Street June 10 - July 9

Beginning Wednesday, June 10^th at 8:00am, Emery Sapp and Sons will start demolition of the building at 225 S 9^th Street in downtown Columbia. This work will result in a full sidewalk closure on the north side of Elm Street between 8^th Street and 9^th Street and a partial sidewalk closure on the west side of 9^th Street between Locust Street and Elm Street. Work should be completed and sidewalks reopened by Thursday, July 9^th at 8:00am, weather permitting.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
