ARMED ROBBERY SATURDAY MORNING IN THE 400 BLOCK OF NORTH TENTH STREET

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

On 6/6/15 at 2:48 A.M., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Tenth Street in reference to a robbery with a gun.

The investigation revealed a male victim was approached at the intersection of Tenth Street and Rogers Street by three male suspects. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. As the victim grabbed the gun, he was assaulted by all three suspects. The suspects then fled the scene on foot in a westbound direction of travel.

Upon officers' arrival, the victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for lacerations and contusions to his head. There was no property taken from the victim by the suspects. The suspects are described as younger black males all wearing dark colored clothing. The investigation is on-going.
