On 5/2/15 at 11:24 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Towne Drive in reference to shots fired.
The investigation revealed a male delivery driver made a delivery to a residence in the area. The driver (victim) was approached by a black male suspect wearing a green coat. The suspect displayed a handgun, pointed it towards the victim, and demanded money. The victim pushed the handgun away and as he did so, the suspect fired a shot. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his arm as a result of the shot being fired. The suspect did not obtain any valuables from the victim, but fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel. The victim was treated at a local hospital for the gunshot wound. The investigation is on-going.
