On 4/30/15 at 11:58 P.M., officers located a robbery victim in the 100 block of Tenth Street.
While responding to a separate call, officers observed a male victim lying on the sidewalk with an injury to his head. The investigation revealed the victim had been struck by two male suspects and had items stolen from his person. The victim was intoxicated and unable to recall details of the incident.
A male witness observed the suspects taking items from the victim's pockets and attempted to intervene. The witness was then struck in the face by one of the male suspects. The suspects then fled the scene on foot with the original victim's valuables. The witness suffered swelling and redness to his jaw as a result of being struck.
The suspects are described as younger black males with a tall, average build. The suspect who struck the witness was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. The investigation is on-going.
