COMO Connect detours buses on eastbound Rollins during MU Move-Out Day

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Friday, May 15th there will be a scheduled closure on Rollins Street to eastbound traffic to allow MU students in Johnston Hall to move out. Police will be positioned at the intersection of Hitt and Rollins to keep traffic moving and will be banning any eastbound traffic on Rollins between Hitt Street and College Ave. COMO Connect will detour the following eastbound routes to avoid the affected area. Westbound routes will not be affected and run as normal.

1 / Black Route (direction A) Detour

The the northbound and southbound 1A Black routes will be eastbound on Rollins Street until Hitt Street, then turn south on Hitt and east on Hospital Drive and return to normal north- or southbound routes on College Avenue. The 1B Black route is westbound on Rollins and will not be affected by the traffic restrictions or detour.

10 / Red / Downtown Route Detour

The 10 Red route will continue south on Hitt Street at Rollins Street, and detour Virginia Avenue that will be blocked by the closure. The route will continue south on Hitt before returning to normal westbound route at Hitt and Hospital Drive.

Tiger Line 401 Hearnes Loop / 402 Trowbridge Loop Detour

The Tiger Line 401 / 402 heading east on Rollins Street will turn south on Hitt Street, east on Hospital Drive, north on College Ave, and east on Ashland Gravel Road for the Trowbridge Loop. Because of the detour, please be aware that this route is being run in the opposite direction this day heading east on Ashland Gravel Road, north on East Campus Drive and then west on Rollins Street back to the MU Student Center.

See attached map of the affected area for details on the bus route detours.
