GetAbout Columbia to Provide Free Valet Bike Parking at Earth Day Festival

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

If you're planning to bike to the Columbia Area Earth Day Festival, GetAbout Columbia, in partnership with Columbia Parks and Recreation will provide a safe and secure location to store your personal belongings.  Valet Bike Parking will be available from 12 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 at the intersection of 6th and Elm. 

It's like a coat check for your bike!  Cyclists will also be offered a free bike taillight for their green efforts.

Funding for GetAbout Columbia is provided by the Federal Highway Administration's Non-Motorized Transportation Program.  Education and encouragement programs are administered by the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department.
