The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal Open House informational meeting concerning the referenced upcoming trail project. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:00pm at City Hall, 701 E Broadway, Room 1A.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the proposed Clark Ln West and Hinkson Creek Trail Connection. The proposed trail is part of the city's non-motorized transportation pilot program. The City of Columbia has engaged COG Engineers, INC to design the sidewalk on Clark Ln and a connection to the Hinkson Creek Trail. A location map for the project is enclosed.
Construction of the project is anticipated to begin in 2017.
Information and diagrams showing our preliminary design concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A Public Comment Form will be available. Your input will be considered as the design is developed.
