UPDATE - Downtown Surface Parking Lot Closures for Maintenance - December 18

Work date moved forward by one day due to forecasted precipitation chances on the original date of December 18.

Beginning at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, the City of Columbia Public Works Parking Utility will be performing crack seal maintenance on portions of the Armory parking lot and the 5th and Cherry parking lot via a private contractor.

Parking on the Armory Lot, in the spaces directly behind the Armory building, will not be available. Armory permit holders, who park in the section of the lot which will be closed, may park in the 5th and Walnut Parking Structure in spaces marked, "Armory Lot Permit Holders Only".

Parking in the entire 5th and Cherry surface lot will not be available. Lot permit holders may park in the 6th and Cherry Parking structure in spaces marked, "5th and Cherry Lot Permit Holders Only".

The work is scheduled to be completed and both parking lots open by 5:00 am on Friday, December 18 weather permitting.

Parking Utility staff have posted signs on both lots with the closure information.
