ARREST MADE IN EAGLE STOP ROBBERY
On 11/26/14 at 2:27 P.M., officers located Jajuan Antrell Williams, age 30, from Columbia, at 3200 Alpine Drive. Williams had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from another jurisdiction for the original charge of Speeding with a bond of $293.00 cash only.
During the Eagle Stop investigation, Williams was an associate of a former employee with the business and he was identified as a suspect in the robbery. When Williams was arrested for the outstanding warrant, detectives interviewed him in reference to the Eagle Stop Robbery. Williams admitted to planning and assisting in committing the robbery. Williams said he split the proceeds with a second suspect and the weapon used in the robbery was at his residence.
Detectives conducted a search warrant at his residence and recovered the handgun. Williams was arrested for Armed Criminal Action with a to be set bond, Robbery in the First Degree with a to be set bond, and Unlawful for Certain Persons to Possess Concealed Weapons with a bond of $4,500.00.
