NARCOTICS SEARCH WARRANT SERVED IN THE 2000 BLOCK OF RINEY LANE

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

On 10/10/2014, at approximately 12:38 P.M., officers of the Columbia Police Department (CPD) served a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 2000 block of Riney Lane.

 Resident Dennis E. Nowlin, age 61, was located in a bedroom inside the residence.  Approximately 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with various items of drug paraphernalia such as pipes, syringes, and a spoon with residue were located in the same bedroom.  Multiple scales, small baggies and ledgers, items that are consistent with the distribution of narcotics, were also located inside the residence.

 Nowlin was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance and later transported to the Boone County Jail.
