Shooting Aspen Heights

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

SHOOTING ASPEN HEIGHTS

On 9/27/14 at 2:13 A.M., officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Aspen Heights Parkway, The Aspen Heights Apartment Complex, in reference to multiple phone calls of shots fired in the area.

The investigation revealed a physical disturbance happened when several shots were fired in the area. Officers arrived on scene and located a vehicle in the parking lot with a bullet hole in the driver's side door and window. Officers located a female victim, age 22, with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and she was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators were called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.  There is no suspect information at this time.
