COMO Connect offers a unique service for Mizzou football fans on game day: bus routes straight into the action. The special football bus routes are designed to transport fans to and from the stadium from parking garages, hotels, shopping centers, and many favorite pre-game locations in the District. Buses start running the football routes approximately two hours before kick-off and also offer return trips for fans after the game. Downtown locations can expect to see a bus about every 15 minutes at each pick-up point plus multiple return trips starting after the third quarter. Hotel and shopping center routes will have two different pick up times before the game and one return trip 30-minutes after the game ends. Fans are dropped off just steps from the stadium at the corner of Tiger Avenue and Hospital Drive, and can catch a return bus at the same location after the game.
Anyone can take advantage of the football bus routes for only $1.50 each way or with a valid bus pass; however, fans are getting a special treat for the first game of the season when the bus routes are completely free for customers during a "Ride Free in August" promotion. Fans can also make their bus transportation even easier with the free real-time tracking available for COMO Connect buses using the free DoubleMap app or website to see exactly where their bus is and get an estimate for when it will be coming to their stop. COMO Connect reminds customers that buses do not allow beverages or coolers on the bus before or after the game.
Because of the increased traffic and additional bus service for fans near the stadium, the COMO Connect 10 Red Downtown Orbiter route will detour one block north in the area and travel down Rollins instead of its normal route on Hospital Drive. The detour will be in effect from 1:30pm until one hour after the game ends.
Customers can find more information on the football routes and schedules at www.COMOconnect.org.
