NARCOTICS SEARCH WARRANT SERVED 600 BLOCK MIKEL STREET

On 07/17/14 at approximately 2003 hours, the Columbia Police Department SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 600 Block of Mikel Street.  The Bearcat armored personnel carrier was used in the service of this warrant to safely deliver SWAT personnel to the target residence.

 Heroin was located in the residence and seized by officers.  The subject of the search warrant was not in the residence at the time the warrant was served.  Officers are looking for the individual who is the target of this investigation.  The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
