Media Release ~ 6/27/11
LARGE DISTURBANCE WITH SHOTS FIRED
On 6/25/11 at 1:07 A.M., Officers were dispatched to a large party in the area of 1912 Foyer Court. Officers were notified the party had approximately 300 people. When Officers arrived, they observed a large group (over 100) involved in a physical disturbance. As Officers gave verbal commands to the large group to disperse, shots were fired approximately 150 feet north of 1912 Foyer Court.
Officers located three individuals who had been sitting in a vehicle with one bullet through the windshield. The three occupants of the vehicle were injured by the flying glass from the bullet entering the windshield. All three victims had minor injuries from the glass. Officers located a round in the front passenger seat of that vehicle.
A fourth victim, who was farther down the street from the vehicle, was struck in the left earlobe by a bullet. The fourth victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. A total of 8 shell casings were located at the scene. There is no suspect description and no arrests have been made at this time.
