Beginning Friday, June 27, 2014 at 7:00 am, J.C. Industries, Inc. will begin Phase II on the Downtown Ramps project. This project will consist of pedestrian crosswalk and ADA ramp improvements at the intersection's of Seventh and Locust. The project is funded by Community Development Block Grant with a total project cost of $97,776.50. This work will result in temporary road closing of the south side of the intersection of Seventh Street and Locust. Motorists and pedestrians will be able to access Seventh Street from Elm Street. The work is expected to be completed by Friday July 3, 2014, weather permitting.
Motorists and non-motorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
