Columbia Police Department Releases Results of Alcohol Enforcement
(Columbia, MO) - On the night of Friday, May 16, 2014 the Columbia Police Department, assisted by deputies with the Boone County Sheriff's Department, conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Broadway at West Boulevard. The check point began at approximately 10:00 p.m. and concluded at approximately midnight. During this checkpoint, 261 motorists were contacted. The following arrests were made:
3 Driving While Suspended, Revoked, or Otherwise Unlicensed1 outstanding felony warrant
On the morning of Saturday, May 17, 2014 the Columbia Police Department, assisted by deputies with the Boone County Sheriff's Department, conducted a sobriety checkpoint on State Farm Parkway at Nifong Boulevard. The checkpoint began at approximately 12:30 a.m. and concluded at approximately 02:30 a.m. During this checkpoint, 106 motorists were contacted. The following arrests were made:
3 Driving While Intoxicated.
