COLUMBIA POLICE INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE ON WEST TEXAS AVENUE
On 4/22/14 at 1:39 P.M., officers were originally dispatched to 920 West Texas Avenue in reference to a shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a deceased male inside the residence and detectives are working this as a homicide investigation. There is no information on the deceased male at this time.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood and are currently looking for a green Chevrolet Impala that had more than one person inside the vehicle when it left the area after the shots fired.
