Armed Robbery Parkway Apartments On West Broadway

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

ARMED ROBBERY PARKWAY APARTMENTS ON WEST BROADWAY

On 4/9/14 at 1:29 A.M., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery in the 200 block of West Broadway, Parkway Apartments.  Joint Communications advised three black males armed with handguns were in the process of assaulting one of the victims.

The investigation revealed three victims were in the apartment waiting on the arrival of a friend.  When the friend arrived at the apartment he was accompanied by two other males. The friend pulled out a handgun, demanded money and the victims' items. A scuffle broke out and the friend struck one of the victims with the pistol. The three suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction of travel.  The suspects didn't steal anything from the apartment.

While officers were processing the scene, the officers found over twenty pieces of drug paraphernalia as well as a small amount of marijuana in the apartment.  There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
