Memorial services for Lt. Bruce Britt who passed away in the line of duty on Saturday, February 22 will be held on Thursday, February 27.
Attached to this email is a press packet of information along with maps of the processional route, fire apparatus staging area for the processional, and a high resolution department photo of Lt. Britt.
This information is also available on the City of Columbia's website at GoColumbiaMo.com and is highlighted on the main page.
We appreciate the patience of media and the public while we worked to finalize memorial services with full fire department honors. We worked hard to ensure the information we released was complete and accurate.
As a reminder, a press conference will be held on Wednesday, February 26 at 10:00 am at Fire Station 1, 201 Orr Street, to discuss and answer media questions on the memorial service.
