Scott Blvd between Bellview Drive and Vawter School Road will CLOSE on Monday, March 3 at 7:00 am. This section of Scott Blvd will remain closed until August 8.
The intersection of Vawter School Rd and Scott Blvd will remain open for the following traffic flow only:
Scott Blvd traffic going north and then east on Vawter School Rd.
Vawter School Rd traffic going west and then south on Scott Blvd.
In mid-July, the entire intersection of Vawter School Rd and Scott Blvd will close for a period of 21 days.
Access to the Scott Blvd and Jay Dix MKT trailhead parking lots will be closed. The MKT trail through the project area will remain open during the Scott Blvd Phase II project. Trail users are asked to use caution and not enter the construction area. Vehicle access to these two trailhead parks is expected to reopen in mid-July.
Canoe, kayak, and paddlers on the Hinkson at Scott Blvd should be aware that a low water crossing will be constructed on the east side of the current Hinkson Creek bridge. For your safety you are asked not to attempt to navigate the low water crossing.
You can learn more about Scott Blvd Phase II, alternate routes, FAQ's, and other information on the project website at www.ScottBv.com
Columbia Public Works appreciates your patience while we work to improve Columbia roadways.
