Shots Fired Big Bear Boulevard

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

                                 SHOTS FIRED BIG BEAR BOULEVARD


On 1/26/14 at 1:34 A.M., officers were dispatched to 705 Big Bear Boulevard, Sidelines Sports Bar in reference to shots fired. The investigation revealed a female victim, 29, was sitting in her car outside the business when her car was shot at several times by the suspect. Officers located 7 shell casings on the ground and two bullet holes in the victim's vehicle. The suspect earlier in the evening had been following her around the bar. The victim does not know the suspect and the victim was not injured in the shots fired. The suspect fled the area on foot heading east from the business. The Boone County Sheriff's Department K-9 tracked the suspect but he was not located. Officers are checking for video surveillance in the area and the investigation is ongoing.

Suspect Description: black male, 5'2", medium build, last seen wearing dark clothing. The suspect was armed with a hand gun.
