COLUMBIA POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING AT FOREST AVENUE AND GRAND AVENUE

             COLUMBIA POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING AT FOREST AVE AT GRAND AVE

On 01-11-14, at 2:01 P.M., officers were dispatched to Forest Ave at Grand
Ave in reference to shots being fired. Prior to arrival they were advised a
19 year old male victim had been shot and was still on scene. The victim
was transported to a local area hospital for treatment by EMS.
At 2:22 P.M. officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Park De Ville
Place in reference to a 37 year old victim who had also been shot during
the same incident at Forest and Grand. This victim was also transported to
a local area hospital for treatment.
The investigation is active and ongoing. There is no suspect information
available at this time. Further updates will be released as appropriate
