Home Invasion Robbery On North Cedar Lake Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

HOME INVASION ROBBERY ON NORTH CEDAR LAKE DRIVE

On 12/31/13 at 5:00 A.M., officers were dispatched to North Cedar Lake Drive in reference to a home invasion robbery with shots fired. The investigation revealed the victims were asleep in the residence when their front door was kicked in by three suspects.  A guest of the residents was sleeping on the couch when the suspects entered through the front door.  While the suspects were searching the residence, the victim racked a round into his pistol grip shotgun. This action alarmed the suspects who then fled back out of the residence.

While the suspects were fleeing the residence, one of the suspects fired several handgun rounds towards the rear of the residence. There was no one injured during the robbery. The victims located the items taken by the suspects outside near the residence.  All three suspect descriptions are black males, thin to average build, last seen wearing all dark clothing and masks.  At least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun. Investigation is ongoing.
