COLUMBIA POLICE DETECTIVES ARREST THREE AFTER SEARCH WARRANT

COLUMBIA POLICE DETECTIVES ARREST THREE AFTER SEARCH WARRANT

On 11-22-13, at 7:55 P.M., Columbia Police Department Detectives served a search warrant for stolen property at 806 Oak Lawn Drive.  The search warrant was obtained in relation to a stealing case which was reported on 11-17-13 by Wal-Mart, 3001 West Broadway.  John Dale Hardy Jr., 29, had been identified as the suspect, Case 2013-013729.

Upon service of the search warrant three people were at the residence and detained (John Hardy Jr., John Anthony Curry, and Kerry Leslie Pruett).  Upon searching for the stolen property detectives observed what appeared to methamphetamine and intravenous drug paraphernalia in plain view.   Detectives then obtained an additional search warrant to search further for drugs and drug paraphernalia, Case 2013-013967.

CPD detectives located heroin, methamphetamine, intravenous drug paraphernalia, materials to package the drugs for sale, several different kinds of prescription pills, and a handgun in the residence.

CPD detectives also located several tools which were stolen at a commercial burglary in Hardy's vehicle.  This burglary was reported by Lucky's Market, 111 S. Providence Road, on 11-02-13, Case 2013-013077.

John Dale Hardy Jr., 29, was arrested for:

2 counts of Felony Distribution/Delivery/Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, to be set bond.

3 counts of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, bond $13,500.

Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Firearm, bond $4,500.00.Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, bond $500.00.

Probation and Parole Warrant, no bond.

John Anthony Curry, 32, was arrested for Possession of Drug paraphernalia, bond $500.00 

Kerry Leslie Pruett, 37, was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, bond $4,500.00.
