The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, November 18, at 7:00 a.m. NW Industries LLC will begin excavation for the removal and replacement of a sanitary sewer tap at 603 Woodlawn Avenue. This work will result in a road closure on Woodlawn Avenue at 603 Woodlawn Ave. (between Hickman Ave. and E. Sexton Rd.). The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Tuesday, November 19, by 5:00 p.m.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
