FastCAT107 Bus Route on Adjusted Schedule and Route for Homecoming

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Transit FastCAT107 route will be running on an adjusted schedule and route on Saturday October 26th to allow for the homecoming parade and game.

Delayed Start Time: FastCAT107 will delay first departure from William and Walnut to 10:55am to allow time for the homecoming parade, and then resume regular route and service.

Game Traffic Detour: The FastCAT107 will run on a shorter detour route for one hour before the kick off time (approx. 5-6pm) and one hour after the game ends to allow traffic in the stadium area to clear out. The detour route map is attached.

The student bus service, Tiger Line, will also be adjusting service to allow traffic around the stadium to clear. Tiger Line evening routes will have a break in service for one hour after the game ends, and then resume normal service.

All football fans are urged to use the special Columbia Transit Football Routes to get to and from the game on game day. These routes run to and from downtown, and many hotels, restaurants, and bars around Columbia. Rides are only $1.50 per person and customers are asked to have exact change and avoid bringing coolers or beverages onto the bus. More information, printable route maps and schedules, and real-time bus tracking is available on the city's website at http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/PublicWorks/Transportation/.
