The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Tuesday, September 10, at 7:00 a.m., City Street Maintenance crews will begin work to mill and overlay asphalt on St. Charles Road between Keene Street and Upland Creek Road. This work will result in lane restrictions along St. Charles Rd. between Keene St. and Upland Creek Rd. The work is scheduled to be completed and the road fully reopened by Friday, September 13 by 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
