Rolling Hills Road - Dedication and Ribbon Cutting

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

A dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting for the new Rolling Hills Road is scheduled for Friday, September 6 at 9:00 am. The ceremony will take place on Hawk Perch Drive at the intersection of Rolling Hills Road. (Map is attached)

Rolling Hills Road was a cooperative project between the City of Columbia, Boone County, and Old Hawthorne Development.

The project consisted of the construction of new roadway from Richland Road to just south of Rt. WW, a new bridge over the North Fork of Gans Creek, road improvements on the existing Rolling Hills from just south of Rt. WW to New Haven Road, and sidewalks along portions of the new road.

Scheduled to speak at the dedication:

  • City Manager Mike Matthes
  • Mayor Bob McDavid
  • City Councilwoman Barbara Hoppe
  • County Presiding Commissioner Dan Atwill
  • Northern District Commissioner Janet Thompson

The Columbia Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will cut a ribbon at the close of the dedication ceremony.
