The City of Columbia Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division, announced today the temporary closure of the drop off recycling containers on the parking lot of Gerbes, 2900 Paris Road.
The containers will be removed today to allow for a construction project on the property to begin. Other drop off sites in Columbia include:
- Columbia Regional Airport (only for cardboard, no glass or plastic accepted)
- Downtown-South side of 10th & Cherry Garage
- Patricia's IGA on N. Keene Street
- Gerbes on West Broadway
- Home Depot on Clark Lane
- Moser's Price Chopper on the Business Loop 70
- State Farm Parkway off Nifong Connector
- Behind Shurz Hall (University of Missouri) off Ashland Gravel Road
- Dulany Hall (Columbia College) off 8th Street
- South end of Pannell Street (Columbia College by Wightman Bldg.)
