Beginning Monday, July 22, 2013, at 7:00 a.m., Public Works Street Maintenance crews will begin work to remove and replace street pavement in the intersection of Worley Street and Garth Avenue. This work will take place in two phases. The first phase will result in a closure of eastbound Worley Street at Oak Street and southbound Garth Avenue at Worley Street.
The second phase will result in a closure of eastbound Worley Street at Oak Street and northbound Garth Avenue at Pendleton Street. The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Wednesday, July 24, 2013, by 7:00p.m., weather pending.
Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the constuction area, allow for delays, and find alternate routes if possible.
Thank you for your patience while we work to improve Columbia's infrastructure.
