DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

Crash occurred when vehicle #1, a 2000 Ford Expedition, was southbound on Highway 63 N approaching Prathersville Rd.  Driver of vehicle #1 lost control and begun to veer off towards the left side of the roadway.  Driver #1 overcorrected to the right causing the vehicle to veer off towards the right side of the roadway.  Driver #1 again overcorrected to the left causing the vehicle to overturn.  The vehicle continued to overturn several times until coming to rest on its top in the northbound lanes of Highway 63 N.

Pani was transported from the scene by EMS personnel to University Hospital for a mild concussion and broken hand which are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

It is believed at this time excessive speed and/or drug/alcohol impairment was not a contributing factor in this crash.  Pani voluntarily submitted to a chemical test of her blood. Results pending toxicology examination.
