INCIDENT DETAILS:

                        The crash occurred as vehicle #1, a red-colored 1996 Kawasaki ZX9R motorcycle, was traveling westbound on Broadway approaching the Scott Blvd curve in the outside traffic lane. According to a witness to the crash, driver #1, Michael Roseman, collided with the concrete curb on the northern part of the roadway in front of the residence at 4215 Wales Dr. This collision caused Roseman to lose control of the motorcycle as he was ejected. Roseman and the motorcycle came to final rest west of the crash location off the roadway in the grass. Roseman was transported by EMS from the scene for life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the University Hospital at 1529 hours as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

                        There were no other vehicles involved, and there was not a passenger on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

                        Roseman was operating the motorcycle with a Revoked driver's license status and he did NOT have a motorcycle endorsement.

                        ***Next of kin, Roseman's mother, has been notified.

                        The investigation is ongoing.
