Public Meeting Scheduled to present draft Environmental Assesment (EA) study concerning proposed projects at Columbia Regional Airport

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

The City of Columbia will host an Environmental Assesment (EA) Workshop on Tuesday, February 5 from 5 to 7 PM at the Columbia Regional Airport, North Terminal, 11260 South Airport Drive.

The purpose of the meeting is to present information and listen to public comments on the draft Environmental Impact study which was conducted to address environmental concerns relating to the following proposed projects at Columbia Regional Airport:

  • Rehabilitate or reconstruct airfield pavement
  • Realign South Rangeline Road
  • Acquire 52 acres of land
  • Realign Route H
  • Improve Runway 13 and parallel taxiway B
  • Construct taxiway A5 and infield drainage improvements
  • Widen taxiway A4
  • Rehabilitate South Apron Area
  • Expand apron between taxiway A2 and A3
  • Improve Runway 20 and parallel taxiway A
  • Expand automobile parking lot

The draft environmental assessment (EA) describing the proposed actions impacts is available for public review until February 12, 2013 and may be reviewed at the following locations:
