Request for Off Duty Police Officer
- This request for an off-duty Police Officer/employment will be reviewed by personnel and must be approved by the Chief of Police or his/her designee prior to being worked by an off-duty officer (See prohibited off-duty employment below).
- The City of Columbia Police Department does not set or negotiate off-duty employment pay rates. However, The Columbia Police Officers Association recommends a minimum rate of $45.00/hour with a three hour minimum.
