Malfunctioning Parking Meter Report

Providing a ticket number does not guarantee a revoking of any penalties, fees, late charges, etc. associated with the issuance of the ticket. All meters will be diagnosed by a City- certified Meter Technician before any decision is rendered as to the validity of a parking ticket.  Any decision rendered will be returned within five business days at the email address provided herein by the applicant.

Please provide the number for the meter that is malfunctioning. The Meter number can be found on a small label below the coin deposit at the base of the meter. Please refer to the picture for an example.

If the meter is verified by City Parking staff to be malfunctioning, you will receive notification that your citation has  been dismissed. If the meter cannot be verified by City Parking staff to be malfunctioning, your citation will be forwarded onto Municipal Court staff for processing as a parking ticket protest.  Upon review, a decision by the City Prosecutor will be rendered and you will be notified of such decision.
