The 107 FastCAT Express route that debuted in mid-August will run on an abbreviated schedule during academic breaks. The student-centric route will run a schedule similar to the rest of the Columbia Transit fixed routes while the University of Missouri and Stephens College are out of session.
The academic break schedule will begin Friday, Nov. 16 with the last departure from Walnut and Stephens College Crosswalk at 8:45pm. The regular hours of operation will resume Monday, Nov. 26.
During the academic break FastCAT will run from 6:25am to 6:10pm Monday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday the evening hours are extended, running from 6:25am to 8:55pm. The bus will run from 9:55am to 6:50pm on Saturday and will not be in service on Sunday.
Passengers can visit RideFastCAT.com to see the full academic break schedule, located on the rider alert page. The site is mobile browser friendly and there are apps available for Android and iOS users.
