Columbia Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Rainbow House to host a Dodgeball Tournament in recognition of Homeless Youth Awareness Month. The event will be held November 17 at the Armory Sports Center. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Rainbow House.
Deadline to register a team for the tournament is 3 p.m. on November 12. Participants must be at least 14 years of age. Cost is $25 per five-person team; two alternates are allowed per team. A maximum of 12 teams can register. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place, as well as Best Team Name and Best Team Outfit.
Registration forms are available at the Armory Sports Center (701 E. Ash) or online at www.rainbowhousecolumbia.org. Checks should be made payable to Rainbow House and registration forms should be submitted at their facility at 1611 Towne Drive.
