Three individuals were named as winners in the FastCAT trivia challenge conducted by Columbia Transit in late September. Josh Kayser, April Swagman and Steven Grumm were chosen as the lucky winners. Participants answered questions on Twitter for chances to win a free semester FASTPass or an iPad 3.
Kayser and Swagman received free semester FASTPasses allowing them unlimited rides on any Columbia Transit route. Grumm won an iPad 3. He can use his new tablet to track the FastCAT buses by visiting RideFastCAT.com. The tracking function on the site shows the GPS location of each bus allowing the user to see in real time where the bus is in relation to their location.
"Thank you so much," said Swagman. "This will really come in handy for me."
Participants answered questions about the student centric FastCAT route and each correct answer entered them to win. More than 80 entries were received via @Columbia_MO_Bus during the contest, held Sept. 17, 18 and 19.
