Columbia Police have arrested Shaunasty S. Townsend, 23, of Columbia for the charges of first degree assault, stealing and for an outstanding warrant for trespassing.
On Monday, May 3, Townsend was identified as a second suspect involved in a reported shots fired incident that occurred in the 3200 block of Elm Grove Dr. at approximately 3 p.m. on April 16.
Townsend has been remanded to the custody of the Boone County Jail.
This is an ongoing investigation and is being handled by the Department's Criminal Investigation Division. More details may become available later.
